Nima Haddadi

I am Nima Haddadi, founder of H Law Group and a former prosecutor with the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office, which files the misdemeanor cases that happen inside city limits, from domestic violence to DUI. I started my career on the other side of these cases, and I use what I learned there every time I read a police report.

My practice is criminal defense and DUI across California: domestic violence, drug charges, theft, firearms allegations, violent crimes, white collar investigations, and DUI from a first offense through felony DUI with injury. The work starts the same way in all of them. Someone else wrote the record first, and my job is to test it. The stop or the search, the statements, the testing, the timing, and what the prosecution can actually prove.

Timing matters more than most people expect. A DUI runs two cases at once, and the DMV gives you 10 days to protect your license. In a felony case, the filing decision and the preliminary hearing often shape everything that follows. Either way, the earlier we see the file, the more there is to work with.

What I care about is protecting your record, your freedom and your ability to keep working while the case is pending. I will not promise you a result. I will tell you what the evidence supports, what it does not, and what your realistic options are, and I have made that case in court and on Fox News and other national outlets.
